You may or may not be aware that I have another blog at WordPress—Eee 701 Planetoid, devoted to my ongoing experiments with my Asus Eee 701SD (the “original netbook” from 2007, with the 7″ 800×480 screen and tiny keyboard). I say “ongoing”, but for various reasons the blog has been mostly dormant since about the end of 2010.
Well, it looks like the blog is awakening again, mostly due to my search for a replacement Linux OS for the machine. My first post there since last December, takes stock of the current situation with the Eee, including my first thoughts on which Linux distribution I might choose to replace Eeebuntu.
